(Inside a Black Apple) on blogging

(Inside a Black Apple) on blogging:
There have been times over the last year . . . that I received so much comfort by way of the tiny network of voices whispering “you are not alone, you are not alone”. The voices weren’t only comments on Inside a Black Apple, or even emails necessarily. Often they were other people’s photographs on their own blogs, their own admissions of vulnerability or weakness, their stalwart self-awareness and thoughtfulness. (From her post earlier this week: The way in which blogs are like Mary Poppins)
I especially love her phrase “the tiny network of voices whispering ‘you are not alone, you are not alone’”. That’s what the blog world feels like to me, too.
