Brandy sour

Gavin invented this drink:
Brandy sour
(Makes 2 drinks)
- 3 oz. brandy
- juice of one lemon
- juice of one small orange or tangerine (even better)
- 2 teaspoons sugar or simple syrup
- dash of bitters
- 2 maraschino cherries and a little cherry juice from the jar
If using sugar, squeeze all the citrus juice into the shaker, and stir in sugar. Add ice to shaker. Add alcohol. Shake hard. Put a maraschino cherry and a little cherry juice in the bottom of a chilled martini glass. Pour alcohol and citrus over the back of a spoon into the glasses.
