When I’m cooking and cleaning up around the house I like to listen to books on tape from the library.

I’ve recently discovered http://librivox.org and am listening to books on my iPod. When I’m in the house, I use speakers instead of headphones.

I second the librivox… it is a fantastic resource- and, free! It has saved many a long car ride from boredom (that and podcasts of This American Life)
