Shower caps instead of plastic wrap

I use this extra extra-large shower cap to cover bread dough while it’s rising in this big bowl. Smaller see-through hair dying caps are good for covering normal-sized bowls of leftovers in the fridge when you want to be able to glance through and see what is inside them.
I found this idea in Nancy Silverton’s Breads of the La Brea Bakery.

What a GREAT idea. I’ve always just used a dish towel. I like the shower cap closure idea of it
I used to see little shower cap looking things with the aluminum foil and plastic wrap in stores, but cannot remember seeing those things in quite a while.
Seems that a real shower cap would last longer, though, since it’s sturdier material.
dude good idea.
